Watch: Lady Gaga Slammed for 'Cringey' Pharma Commercial

Lady Gaga's Little Monsters are wondering what's going on with their queen after she posted two sponsored ads this month on Instagram but has yet to mention anything about Pride Month.

As reported by Page Six, Gaga was called "cringey" for a recent Instagram post that was clearly hawking Pfizer's migraine drug, Nurtec.

At first glance, we thought she might be going all method for her upcoming role as the mentally unwell Harley Quinn in "The "Joker: Folie à Deux."

But a visit to Nurtec's website confirms that Gaga, the stage persona, is indeed a spokesperson for the drug brand.

"Ever since childhood, I've dealt with migraine pain. When I tried Nurtec® ODT (rimegepant) 75 mg for the first time, I'll never forget wishing I had found it sooner. That's why I'm proud to partner with Nurtec ODT. 💜 We're in this together," Gaga posted.

"Girl what the hell happened to you that you're like this and care about money this way and nothing else anymore? Not the person who used to say 'I f-ing hate money' in 2009," one social media commentator asked.

Another added, "Wtf is wrong with this account? Where is Gaga? Who's doing this? How come our Mother Monster would do a sponsor for... [medicine]? This is unsane. [sic]."

What's more is Gaga still has not posted a Pride message -- 15 days into the month. Of course, she has long been a vocal supporter of LGBTQ+ rights, creating one of the most well-known LGBTQ+ anthems of the 21st century with "Born This Way."

But Gaga has also very publicly stated that she was born with chronic migraines and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, a chronic illness that causes chronic pain and that has led to her cancelling shows.

As one social media user stuck up for her and tweeted:

The partnership also inspired a bunch of memes about what the drug might do to Little Monsters if they take it, and they are equally hilarious and puzzling.

"Me after taking my first dose of Nurtec @pfizer @ladygaga," one user tweeted with a clip of someone twerking.

Before everyone puts their paws down and cancels Lady Gaga for being money hungry, it's not over until we hear from Mother Monster herself. We are sure there is an explanation for this. What do you think?
