Watch: Leslie Jordan Tells Max Greenfield: 'I Thought You Might be Gay!'

Out comedian Leslie Jordan made a confession about "The Neighborhood" star Max Greenfield when the two appeared on "The Ellen Show," with Jordan guest hosting and Greenfield appearing as a guest, Just Jared reported.

The two had met on the set of "Will & Grace" in 2017, by which time Greenfield had already notched recurring roles on "Veronica Mars" and "Ugly Betty," as well as starring on "New Girl."

Recalling their initial meeting, Greenfield – clad in a sweatshirt bearing the likeness of Barbra Streisand – asked Jordan what his first impression of him had been.

Responded Jordan: "Ooh, I thought you might be gay. But then again, that's my thought whenever I meet anybody."

"Let me tell you something," Max shot back, "you're not the only one." He went on to relate how a friend texted him one day recently to tell him that posters featuring a photo of Greenfield were going up "all over West Hollywood."

The poster in question flashed up on the monitor behind Greenfield and Jordan; it advertised a "Big Gay Party" for "Bangsgiving," with a shirtless Greenfield appearing prominently.

"It's very subtle," Greenfield cracked. "If you can't read that, it says, 'Big Gay Party.'"

"I wanna go to that party!" Jordan exclaimed.

"Max was on the show to talk about his new children's book, 'I Don't Want to Read This Book,' which was inspired by his daughter," Just Jared detailed.
