Oakland Park's 12th Annual Oktoberfest celebration will take place tonight though Sunday October 2 at Jaco Pastorius Park, 4000 N. Dixie Highway. Oakland Park is known for putting a twist in the traditional Oktoberfest celebration. Attendees can expect everything from dashing dachshunds to specially crafted seasonal beers, apple strudel eating contests and beer stein & beer barrel races. Oktoberfest hours are Friday, September 30 from 5 to 11 p.m., Saturday, October 1 from 1 to 11 p.m. and Sunday, October 2 from noon to 5 p.m. at the downtown park turned "Biergarten" just north of the NE 38th Street/Park Lane intersection where Funky Buddha will be hosting the "after party" each night. Monday, October 3

All American Gent Red Ribbon Benefit takes place at Boardwalk and starts at 8pm. The night will be a benefit for people living with HIV/AIDS and star Jose Vega (AA Gent 2016), Alyson Thomas (Former Miss Noche Latina Elite), Mia Patricyk & Efraim Reyes (Miss and Mr. Noche Latina 2016), Rolly Villaverde (Mr. EOY 2016), Nicole T Phillips (Miss Florida F.I. at Large 2016), Kitty Meow, (Host, honorary Miss Florida F.I. 2016) and many more. The night will also feature silent auction, raffles and food.

The intrepid crew of the USS Enterprise returns in "the best action movie of the year" (Scott Mantz, "Access Hollywood"). "Star Trek Beyond" sets a course on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray 3D and Blu-ray Combo Packs, DVD and On Demand November 1, 2016 from Paramount Home Media Distribution.

The sci-fi adventure will also be available as part of the Star Trek Trilogy Blu-ray Collection.

The film warp speeds to Digital HD four weeks early on October 4.
