Last week, Ryan Murphy's new show "Dahmer — Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story," was released on Netflix. Starring Murphy mainstay Evan Peters as the gay serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, the 10-part limited series also features Richard Jenkins, Molly Ringwald and Niecy Nash.

The series follows the life of Dahmer, from childhood through his 17 grisly murders of men and boys, with some episodes being told from his victims' point of view. Nevertheless, the show is drawing plenty of online criticism and even backlash from the victims' families, with some speaking out in the media about the show.

Despite the outcry, people are tuning in. Variety reported that "Dahmer" skyrocketed to Netflix's No. 1 spot in its most-watched list in countries around the world, adding that it was also one of the most talked about shows online with more than 918,000 engagements on Twitter.

Gay Twitter certainly tuned in and had some thoughts about the show. Find some of the reactions to "Dahmer" below.
