"Captain Marvel" star Brie Larson ignited a Twitter frenzy when she posted a YouTube video of herself taking online quizzes... and answering one question in a way that left fans asking, "Did she just come out?!"

Larson told her viewers she had decided to test her self-knowledge by taking several online quizzes. After answering questions about which Hogwarts house she'd belong to, what she'd do first in a zombie apocalypse, and which animal she most identifies with, Larson answered the question "You're ten years old. How do you spend an hour of recess?" by selecting the choice that read, "Searching wikihow on the library computer for 'How do you know if you're gay?' "

Larson chose the answer in an off-the-cuff manner, and did not select similarly LGBTQ-themed answers for subsequent questions. Even so, fans instantly wondered if Larson was signaling something new about herself.

The Wrap recalled that Larson has been unwilling to discuss her private life. "Previously, Larson was engaged to musician Alex Greenwald, but the two broke it off in 2019," the celebrity news site reminded readers. "She has said in past interviews that she regularly refuses to answer questions in interviews about her personal life that make her uncomfortable."

However, The Wrap pointed out, the actor wasn't so shy when she was on a Marcel Cinematic Universe panel at Comic-Con last fall and a fan shouted, "I just want to see lesbians!"

Larson shot back with the quip, "How can I top lesbians?"

Twitter went wild after Larson posted her quiz-taking video at her YouTube channel. Take a look at some of the tweets that celebrated the moment.
